 ORANGE COUNTY ( CALIFORNIA ) NEWSPAPER This is a very good letter to the
 editor. This woman made some good points. For some reason, people have
 difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against supporting the
 currently proposed immigration revisions. This lady made the argument
 pretty simple. NOT printed in the Orange County Paper...................
 Newspapers simply won't publish letters to the editor which they either
 deem politically incorrect (read below) or which does not agree with the
 philosophy they're pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter
 to the editor that should have been published; but, with your help it will
 get publishe via cyberspace! New Immigrants From: "David LaBonte" My wife,
 Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which,
 of course, was not printed. So, I decided to "print" it myself by sending
 it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined. Dave

 Dear Editor:

 So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this
 land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should
 tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't
 being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other
 ports of entry.

 Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr.
 Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of
 immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of
 Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and
 stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get
 down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to
 uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They
 made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and
 some even changed their names to blend in with their new home. They had
 waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and
 did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one
 culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor
 laws to protect them.

 All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them
 to trade for a future of prosperity. Most of their children came of age
 when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose
 parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan .
 None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what
 country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler,
 Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United
 States of America as one people. When we liberated France , no one in
 those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American
 or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we
 carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant
 sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving
 it to represent who they were.

 It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much
 to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American.
 They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl. And here
 we are in 2006 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and
 privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set
 of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being
 faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an
 American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis
 Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard
 work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has
 become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think
 they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those
 waving foreign country flags. And for that suggestion about taking down
 the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are
 voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling
 the United States just yet.

JAPANESE CORPORATION

You have two cows.

You redesign them so they are one-tenth the size of an ordinary cow and produce twenty times the milk.

They learn to travel on unbelievably crowded trains.

Most are at the top of their class at cow school.

GERMAN CORPORATION

You have two cows.

You engineer them so they are all blond, drink lots of beer, give excellent quality milk, and run a hundred miles an hour.

Unfortunately they also demand 13 weeks of vacation per year.

ITALIAN CORPORATION

You have two cows but you don't know where they are.

While ambling around, you see a beautiful woman.

You break for lunch.

Life is good.

RUSSIAN CORPORATION

You have two cows.

You have some vodka.

You count them and learn you have five cows.

You have some more vodka.

You count them again and learn you have 42 cows.

The Mafia shows up and takes over however many cows you really have.

TALIBAN CORPORATION

You have all the cows in Afghanistan , which are two.

You don't milk them because you cannot touch any creature's private parts

You get a $40 million grant from the US government to find alternatives to milk production but use the money to buy weapons.

IRAQI CORPORATION

They go into hiding.

They send radio tapes of their mooing.

Employees are regularly maimed and killed attempting to milk them.

BELGIAN CORPORATION

You have one cow.

The cow is schizophrenic.

Sometimes the cow thinks he's French, other times he's Flemish.

The Flemish cow won't share with the French cow.

The French cow wants control of the Flemish cow's milk.

The cow asks permission to be cut in half.

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT,
DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN DELIVER THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been
completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our
mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces
from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now to begin
the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which
have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The
United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the
countries listed there.

The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world's
nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of
both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those
nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved
during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi
war.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world
Hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money
toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that
note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you
down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France, or maybe China.

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France,
Germany, and Russia. Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring
from NATO as well. Bon chance, mes amis.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN
diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking
tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and
crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps
have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or
watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the
finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely
to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not
pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt government
really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and
infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep,
border security. So start doing something with your oil.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting
now.


We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil
in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to
come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you
to List 2 above: pick a country and move there. They care.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens.
Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, "darn
tootin."
 

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the
world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the
planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate
homelessness in America. It is time to eliminate World Cup Soccer from
America.

To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thanks guys. We owe you
and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might
want to learn to speak Arabic.

Dear Mr. Ex President Clinton:

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted
for Clinton-Gore." So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending
my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones,
Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita
Broderick. Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had
really planned to wait until he was a little older to discuss it with
him, but now he knows more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work
place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you
have to know is what the meaning of "it" is. It really is great to
know that certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex
while the other one does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a
new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the
movie "Wag the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford
look graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look
truthful, and John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 Hous e and Senate witnesses who have
pled the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid
testifying about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4
imprisonment's from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges
and 32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other "Clinton" scandals.

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting"
much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations"
carefully disgu ised as necessary trips.

9 Thank you, also, for "finding" millions of dollars (I really
didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more
deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned tax dollars)
for all of your globe-trotting. I understand you, the family
and your cronies have logged in more time aboard Air Force One than any
other administration.

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140
pardons of convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile. We will
love to have them rejoin society. (Not to mention the scores you pardoned
while Governor of Arkansas)

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware. I'm
sure that Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the
housewarming gifts you've received from your "friends."

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White
House for vandalizing and destroying government property on the way
out. I also appreciate removing all of that excess weight (China,
silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magnetic compass,
flight m anuals, etc.) out of Air Force 1. The weight savings means
burning less fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel. Thank you!

13. And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million
dollar advance for her "tell-all" book and you, Bill, the $10 million
advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay!

14. The last and most important point - thank you for forcing
Israel to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta
blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned
him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993,
Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners".
However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands.
The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary
of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released.
Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying
an airplane into Tower One of the World< /SPAN> Trade Center. This was reported
by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were
first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports.
Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth?

What a guy!!

AND THE REST OF THE STORY Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York
State Senator, now comes under the "Congressional Retirement and
Staffing Plan," which means that even if she never gets reelected,
she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies. (Would it not
be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?)

If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE
dies.
He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If
Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who
pays for that?

WE DO!

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY
residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale
Chappaqua, New York. Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service
protection for life. Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments
hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be
built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.

The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent
for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to
their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the
Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as
well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all
Perfectly legal!

When she r uns for President, will you vote for her?

Each time you failed to respond adequately they grew bolder, until 9/11.

John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You've accused our Soldiers of terrorizing women and children in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You're a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam is another war that you were for, before you were against it.

John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof. And said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa John? And the Democrats call you their military expert. Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine, sir. You wouldn't amount to a good pimple on a real Marine's ass. You're a phony and a disgrace. "Run away John".

Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned South East Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us!! See Dick run.

Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Grhaib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi's torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news this week, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrate real torture for you again. If you truly supported our troops, you'd show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You're a bloated drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton , Pat Leahy , Chuck Schumer, et al ad nauseam. Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we'll run away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer.

American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one United, with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.

You are America's "AXIS OF IDIOTS". Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home, as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies. Ye s, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.

No, Mr. President, you don't get off the hook, either. Our country has two enemies: Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those who attempt it from within. Gun Control History: Whether you agree or not, it's an interesting lesson
in history.

 Something to think about...
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From
1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves,
were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to
1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up
and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of
13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were
rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952,
20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded
up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to
1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up
and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979,
300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million
'educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because
of gun control: 56 million.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new
law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own
government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million
dollars. The first year results are now in:

Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent

Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent

Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300
percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the
criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!)

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed
robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12
months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the
ELDERLY.. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety
has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in
successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience
and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won't see this data on the American evening news or hear our president,
 governors or other politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes,
gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans.....before it's too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of
this history lesson. With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we are
'subjects'

I don't know if you saw this in the news but it really impressed me. Funny, our US Senate/House took 2 days off as they couldn't work because of the expected storm.

On the ABC evening news, it was reported tonight that, because of the dangers from Hurricane Isabelle approaching Washington DC, the military members assigned the duty of guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier were given permission to suspend the assignment.

They respectfully declined the offer, "No way, Sir!"

Soaked to the skin, marching in the pelting rain of a tropical storm, they said that guarding the Tomb was not just an assignment; it was the highest honor that can be afforded to a serviceperson.

The tomb has been patrolled continuously, 24/7, since 1930.

I don't usually suggest that many emails be forwarded, but I'd be EXTREMELY proud if this one reached as many as possible. We can be very proud of our young men and women in the service no matter where they serve.

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending

some individual or their Culture.

Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge

in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However... The dust from

the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd

began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was

offending others.

 

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone

who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is

almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. However, there

are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to

dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans.....we

have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own

lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles,

trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought

freedom.

 

We speak"ENGLISH", not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,

Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of

our society, "LEARN THE LANGUAGE"

 

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian,

Right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian

men and women.......on Christian principles............. Founded this

nation..... And this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to

display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest

you consider another part of the world as your new home.........because

God is part of our culture.

 

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you

should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we

really don't care how you did things where you came from.

This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle.

Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his

opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so! But once

you are done complaining....... Whining...... And griping.......

About our flag...... Our pledge...... Our national motto.......or

our way of life...I highly encourage you to take advantage of one

other Great American Freedom......

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE?

This is the most interesting thing I've read in a long time. The sad
thing about it is, you can see it coming.

I have always heard about this democracy countdown. It is interesting to
see it in print. God help us; not that we deserve it.

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new
constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at
the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the
Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a
permanent form of government."

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters
discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public
treasury."

"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who
promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that
every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which
is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning
of history, has been about 200 years"

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the
following sequence:
1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul,
Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000
Presidential election:
1. Number of States won by: Gore: 19 Bush: 29
2. Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000 - Bush: 2,427,000
3. Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million - Bush: 143 million
4. Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Gore: 13.2 -
Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won
was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great
country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in
government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government
welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of
democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already
having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the
USA in fewer than five years.

Pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake,
knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

What kind of world will we leave our kids and grand kids?....

The old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years he had
faithfully served the people of the nation's capital. He
motioned for his nurse to come near.

"Yes, Father?" said the nurse.

"I would really like to see Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton
before I die." whispered the priest.

"I'll see what I can do, Father" replied the nurse. The
nurse sent the request to the Senate and waited for a
response.

Soon the word arrived. Kennedy and Clinton would be
delighted to visit the priest.

As they went to the hospital, Hillary commented to Kennedy
"I don't know why the old priest wants to see us, but it
will certainly help our images.

Kennedy couldn't help but agree.

When they arrived at the priest's room, the priest took
Kennedy's hand in his right hand and Hillary's hand in his
left. There was silence and a look of serenity on the old
priest's face. Finally Senator Kennedy spoke.

"Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did
you choose us to be with you as you near the end?"

The old priest slowly replied "I have always tried to
pattern my life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

"Amen" said Kennedy.

"Amen" said Hillary.

The old priest continued..."He died between two lying
thieves. I would like to do the same."

DARRELL SCOTT TESTIMONY

Guess our national leaders didn't expect this, hmm? On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton , Colorado , was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The following is a portion of the transcript:

"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

"The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart.

"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent.

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. This was written way before I knew I would be speaking here today:

 

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,

Your words are empty air.

You've stripped away our heritage,

You've outlawed simple prayer.

Now gunshots fill our classrooms,

And precious children die.

You seek for answers everywhere,

And ask the question "Why?"

You regulate restrictive laws,

Through legislative creed.

And yet you fail to understand,

That God is what we need!

 

"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational

systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do no t need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. < I>

"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by thos e students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your

own heart before casting the first stone!

My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"

Hillary and Guns

 What kind of President will Hillary Clinton make? I realize this is
a disturbing thought, but we must consider it as Senator Clinton
remains the odds-on favorite to win the Democratic nomination for
President in 2008. The way I figure it, with the Clintons, past is
prologue.

That's why Judicial Watch's investigations team has been inspecting
the newly released Clinton Presidential Library records. (We don't
endorse or oppose candidates, but it is part of educational and
corruption-fighting mission to see the Clintons held accountable.)

Recently, our investigations team uncovered documents that provide
some interesting, and troubling, details about the Clintons' plan to
destroy the gun industry, a la "Big Tobacco." Here's just a sample
of what we discovered.

A memorandum from former Clinton Advisor Sidney Blumenthal to Bruce
Reed, Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, dated
November 9, 1998, which reads: "I've enclosed an article and a press
release about the new effort to file class action suits against gun
manufacturers. I think this is a very promising idea. Let's talk
about it soon." The press release, from the Office of the Mayor of
New Orleans, was in draft form, suggesting the Mayor coordinated the
strategy with the Clinton White House.
The "promising idea" identified by Blumenthal involved filing
massive product liability and negligence lawsuits against major
handgun makers, "the opening salvo in a campaign against the gun
industry by an alliance of anti-tobacco attorneys and local
governments," wrote the Los Angeles Times. According to one of the
lawyers involved in the lawsuits: "We are going to do to [the gun
industry] what we did to tobacco. It's going to be a very large
war."
Our investigators also uncovered a March 6, 2000 letter from New
York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer with a handwritten note at the
top from Bill Clinton to then-White House Deputy Counsel Bruce
Lindsey, which reads: "Bruce, See me re: this…has some good ideas
for future." Among the "good ideas" -- denying gun manufacturers the
right to sell guns to the military and law enforcement unless they
sign an anti-gun "code of conduct" that would cripple the industry.
Hillary Clinton and the anti-gun rights crowd used this extortive
litigation strategy to strong-arm gun manufacturer Smith and Wesson
into adopting some of their policies. President Bush put an end to
the federal abuse of the gun industry in 2000. Will a "President
Hillary" revert back to government extortion of the gun industry?

Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many "friends" of the Clintons.

1-James McDougal - Clinton 's convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr's investigation.
 

2 -Mary Mahoney - A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown . The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.
 

3- Vince Foster - Former White House counselor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock 's Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide.
 

4- Ron Brown - Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown's skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors. The rest of the people on the plane also died. Afew days later the air Traffic controller commited suicide.
 

5- C. Victor Raiser II- Raiser, a major player in the Clinton fund raising organization died in a private plane crash in July 1992
 

6-Paul Tulley - Democratic National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock , September 1992. Described by Clinton as a "Dear friend and trusted advisor".
 

7-Ed Willey - Clinton fund raiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in VA of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events.
 

8-Jerry Parks -Head of Clinton's gubernatorial security team in Little Rock . Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock . Park's son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton . He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.
 

9-James Bunch - Died from a gunshot suicide. It was reported that he had a "Black Book" of people which contained names of influential people who visited prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas ..
 

10-James Wilson - Was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide. He wasreported to have ties to Whitewater.
 

11-Kathy Ferguson- Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases, as if she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton i n the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.
 

12-Bill Shelton - Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Ferguson. Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the grave site of his fiancee.
 

13-Gandy Baugh - Attorney for Clinton 's friend Dan Lassater, died by jumping out a window of a tall building January, 1994. His client was a convicted drug distributor.
 

14-Florence Martin - Accountant & sub-contractor for the CIA, was related to the Barry Seal Mena Airport drug smuggling case. He died of three gunshot wounds.
 

15- Suzanne Colem an - Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was Arkansas Attorney General. Died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, ruled a suicide. Was pregnant at the time of her death.
 

16-Paula Grober - Clinton 's speech interpreter for the deaf from 1978 until her death December 9, 1992. She died in a one car accident.
 

17-Danny Casolaro - Investigative reporter. Investigating Mena Airport and Arkansas Development Finance Authority. He slit his wrists, apparently, in the middle of his investigation.
 

18- Paul Wilcher - Attorney investigating corruption at Mena Airport with Casolaro and the 1980 "October Surprise" was found dead on a toilet June 22, 1993 in his Washington DC apartment. Had delivered a report to Janet Reno 3 weeks before his death.
 

19-Jon Pa rnell Walker - Whitewater investigator for Resolution Trust Corp. Jumped to his death from his Arlington , Virginia apartment balcony August15, 1993. He was investigating the Morgan Guaranty scandal.
 

20-Barbara Wise - Commerce Department staffer. Worked closely with Ron Brown and John Huang. Cause of death unknown. Died November 29, 1996. Her bruised, nude body was found locked in her office at the Department of Commerce.
 

21-Charles Meissner -Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small plane crash.
 

22-Dr. Stanley Heard - Chairman of the National Chiropractic Health Care Advisory Committee died with his attorney Steve Dickson in a small plane crash. Dr. Heard, in addition to serving on Clinton 's advisory council personally treated Clinton 's mother, stepfather and brother.

      The 1st fold of the flag is a symbol of life.

      The 3rd fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veterans departing the ranks who gave a portion of their lives for the defense of the country to attain peace throughout the world.
       

      The 4th fold represents the weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in time of war for His divine guidance.

      The 8th fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day.

      The 9th fold is a tribute to womanhood, and Mothers. For it has been through their faith, their love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great has been molded.

      The 10th fold is a tribute to the father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of their country since they were first born.
       

      The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies in the Hebrews eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
       

      The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in the Christians eyes, God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

      The 13th fold, or when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost reminding them of their nations motto, "In God We Trust."

      After the flag is completely folded and tucked in, it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers who served under General George Washington, and the Sailors and Marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones, who were followed by their comrades and shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for them the rights, privileges and freedoms they enjoy today.

      There are some traditions and ways of doing things that have deep meaning. In the future, you'll see flags folded and now you will know why.

      Share this with the children you love and all others who love what is referred to, the symbol of "Liberty and Freedom."

      Hillary Clinton called Bill into her office one day and said, "Bill, I have a great idea! I know how we can win back middle America and secure my presidential victory in 2008."

      "Great, but how do you propose we go about that," asked Bill? "Well," Hillary responded, "we'll go down to a local Wal-Mart, get some cheezy clothes and shoes like most middle Americans wear and then we'll stop at the pound and pick up a Labrador."

      "When we look the part we'll go to a nice old country bar in middle America, and we'll show them that we really enjoy the countryside and show admiration and respect for the hard working people living there".

      A few days later, all decked out in the cheezy wardrobe and their requisite Labrador at heel, they set off from New York in a westerly direction. Eventually they arrived at just the place they were looking for.

      With dog in tow they walk into the bar. They stepped up to the bar, the Bartender took a step back and said, " aren't you Bill and Hillary Clinton?" Hillary answered, "yes we are, and what a lovely town you have here. We were just passing through and Bill suggested that we stop and take in some local color."

      They then ordered a couple of cocktails from the bartender and proceed to drink them down, all the while chatting up a storm with anyone who would listen.

      All of a sudden, the bar room door opens and a grizzled old farmer comes in. He walked up to the Labrador, lifted its tail and looked underneath, shrugged his shoulders and walked out the door. A few moments later, in came another old farmer. He walked up to the dog, lifted its tail, looked underneath, scratched his head and then left the bar.

      Over the course of the next hour or so, another four or five farmers came in, lifted the dog's tail, and went away looking puzzled.

      Eventually Hillary and Bill could stand it no longer and called the bartender over. "Tell me" said Hillary, "why did all those old farmers come in and look under the dog's tail like that? Is it some sort of old custom?" "Good Lord no," said the bartender. "Its just that someone has told them that there was a Labrador in this bar with two assholes!

      The Democrats are back in power and their anti-gun wing is trying to make up for lost time as far as gun control legislation is concerned. There are a number of bills that have been introduced already, but GOA will be there to meet every challenge.

      Right now, we need your help in beating back a reintroduction of the so-called "assault weapons ban," the infamous bill that outlawed many types of firearms based primarily on cosmetics, misinformation and scare tactics.

      The bill is HR 1022, and last month it was introduced by the Queen of Gun Control, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY). Its 30 cosponsors comprise a list of the usual anti-gun suspects -- so we need to make sure that no pro-gun congressmen are duped into signing their names onto this anti-gun piece of trash.

      McCarthy entitled her bill the Assault Weapons Ban and Law Enforcement Protection Act of 2007, knowing these firearms aren't "assault weapons" and knowing the bill she is reintroducing does nothing to prevent violent crime -- since the guns in question have seldom been used in crime.

      McCarthy's bill would reinstate all of the now defunct provisions related to semi-automatic firearms and large capacity magazines. The manufacture and/or importation of many firearms would be prohibited. This would be paired with a strong ban on the possession or transfer of detachable magazines having moderate or larger capacities.

      Truth be told, HR 1022 is the old ban on steroids. Fourteen more guns are listed by name than in the '94 ban, and only one "dangerous" feature, such as a pistol grip, is needed to make a "nice" gun into a "bad" gun. The old ban required two "dangerous" features, such as a pistol grip and a folding stock. This distinction effectively expands the scope of the bill to ban a far broader variety of firearms.

      Since the U.S. Department of Justice has already documented that the previous "assault weapons" ban did absolutely nothing to stop violent crime, it is clear that HR 1022 is simply a direct attack on the 2nd Amendment rights of gun owners.

      More than 10 years ago, the anti-gun lobby and their friends in the media began waging a campaign to frighten people and convince them that the so-called "assault weapons" are rapid fire machine guns when, in reality, they are merely semi-automatic firearms that look different than traditional hunting rifles.

      This bill is designed to cripple the firearms industry while infringing on the rights of all gun owners. It is proof positive that the rabid, anti-gun members of Congress really don't care about stopping crime or saving lives -- they just want to take our guns away.

      What are the odds of this bill getting through the Congress? Who knows? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just gave Rep. Jefferson a seat on the Homeland Security Panel. Jefferson was the guy who had $90,000 dollars of bribe money stuffed into his freezer.

      If the liberals now in control of the Democrat Party feel they are strong enough to get away with that kind of outrage, they may feel they can get away with passing a gun ban that does nothing but punish law-abiding gun owners.

      We must take seriously every anti-gun bill introduced in this Congress. But, at the same time, this bill is an opportunity to beat up those members of Congress who hate guns and will stop at nothing to eliminate our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

      If we can give them a good thrashing on HR 1022, we may be able to discourage them from bringing forth more bills like this. And that is why we need your help in beating down HR 1022 quickly, and making sure that none of the good guys get suckered into supporting this.

      I'm sure you are aware that Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) has reintroduced, in the form of HR 1022, the Clinton semi-auto gun ban that sunset a couple of years ago. The Justice Department reported that the ban's impact on gun violence was small at best, and too small to be statistically valid.

      By contrast, states adopting concealed carry laws had significant decreases in violent crime while states and cities maintaining strict gun control laws continued to have the nation's highest rates of violent crime.

      I agree with Gun Owners of America that the only people affected by the so-called "assault weapons ban" of 1994 were law-abiding gun owners, manufacturers and importers. Clearly, this bill is nothing less than an infringement on the rights of gun owners. And we won't stand for it.

      The supporters of HR 1022 will be identified as anti-gun Congressmen and, hopefully, targeted for defeat at the next election. As your constituent, I urge you to oppose this or any other gun grabbing bill in the 110th Congress.
