Welcome to KC130.Com Home of the KC130F, R, T and J Aircraft Used By The United States Marine Corps
The aircraft described here are the aircraft used by the Marine Corps transport squadrons before the GV-1's, later designated KC-130 arrived into service in 1961. This history for these planes is limited, and a list of serial numbers is believed to be non-existent. In reading over the brief histories, and the specifications for the aircraft, it was noted that with the technologies of those times, the men who flew these planes were more than just pilots, navigators, and engineers. They were pioneers. I am asking that anyone with information, stories, or some old photographs for these aircraft, contact Nick@kc130.com. I would love to be able to put some formal history to these aircraft types from the men who were there. Roger Wyckoff Sends This Video Clip and Information on The B-17 I really enjoyed flying in the B-17 Liberty Belle. It was about 25 to 30 minutes long. They made sure that everyone had a chance to spend some time in the cockpit and up front at the bombardier's position.
