Crash in
Thailand
My name is Mark
and I used to be
a Marine
Loadmaster. I
have some
good pictures of
our old birds
that I would
love to send to
you when
I find them. The
one I am sending
you today is of
my first crash
in
690 when I was
flying with
VMGR-152. We
were coming in
for a landing
at Utapho
Thailand with an
engine on fire
and the main AC
buss down.
Upon touch down
both of the left
main gear tires
blew at about
100
knotts and the
rest you can see
in the pictures.
