This airplane was manufactured at Lockheed in 1961.  This plane was acquired on May 01, 1962.  The planes assignment was VMGR-152, and a note in the current location has this plane going through the DECM giving it an extended service range to 2008.

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION FUTENMA, OKINAWA, Japan - A High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, or "humvee," towing equipment prepares to drive onto a KC-130 Hercules here bound for the Philippines as part of Joint Task Force-535 here Dec. 8, 2004. The equipment, along with about 600 Marines and sailors, are part of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, a rapidly deployable force in the pacific theater that is transporting relief materials to distribution points for the crisis in the Philippines. A July 6 flight from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni to Wake Island marked the 250,000th mishap-free flight hour for Marine Aerial Refueler Squadron 152, 1st Marine Air Wing.

 I found your site on military.com , just writing to give you some info , a/c 799 just took off today from vmgr-152 destined for the boneyard , will try to get you a picture of it taking off from home for the last time.
