This airplane was manufactured at Lockheed in 1960.  This plane was acquired on June 01, 1961.  The planes assignment was VX-30. This plane's current location is Point Mugu.  Some consideration was made to converting this airplane into a DC-130 for launching drones.  No other information is available.

148893 - At VX-30 NAS Pt Mugu. Being re-designated to an NC-130F. Already mod-ed with an APS-115 radar for range clearance work (older P-3 radar). To be mod-ed with drone launching capabilities in the future so they (VX-30) can retire their DC-130A's.
