This airplane was manufactured at Lockheed in 1959.  The Navy acquired this plane on July 01, 1960.  The planes original assignment is unknown. This airplane went to AMARC in 2005.  See Details for this plane below.

This aircraft was returned to AMARC.  It appears that this plane had left the AMARC storage for a time, and is now back in storage.

Current Status: Flying with VX-30, NAS Point Mugu, CA.
 
The Navy UV-1L / C-130BL / LC-130F is the equivalent of the USAF C-130B
