This airplane was manufactured at Lockheed in 1958. The Marine Corps acquired this plane on September 01, 1960. The plane was assigned to VMGR-152, where it still serves to this day. My name is Arnold Sosa, KC 130 F/R/T Flight Mechanic. Here is a picture of aircraft 247 at AMARC with the crew that dropped it off in February out of VMGR - 152 Sumos from Okinawa.
